The works

Twenty-one canvases, from the 2026 colourful portraits to earlier series painted in oil.

Blossoming

Acrylic · 95 × 65 cm

Beneath a storm of blues and oranges, a face emerges. The flowers set in the hair calm the fever of the brushstrokes and give the gaze all its gravity.

Inner garden

Acrylic · 95 × 65 cm

The face becomes a garden: flowers grow right on the skin, curl around the temples and turn the portrait into a spring landscape.

Nocturne with peonies

Acrylic · 70 × 60 cm

On a deep ultramarine, a face rises like a moon, crowned with peonies.

Twins of light

Acrylic · 95 × 65 cm

Two faces share the canvas, one held back in shadow, the other offered to the light. A single gaze runs through them, like a thought dividing in two.

The spring

Acrylic · 95 × 70 cm

The hair becomes a waterfall and the face is covered in flowers. The figure melts into the forest, between running water and foliage, like a nymph caught at waking.

Embers

Acrylic · 60 × 40 cm

Reds, oranges and golds painted like a fire being stoked; the gaze holds the canvas in balance.

Blossoming, second breath

Acrylic · 50 × 40 cm

The palette tightens, the background lightens, and the blue of the gaze gathers all the light.

Day of celebration

Acrylic · 70 × 60 cm

The face emerges from a cloud of coloured confetti. Each stroke is a note of joy, and together they form a portrait in a state of celebration.

Water memory

Acrylic · 52 × 45 cm

Two overlapping figures, one pensive, the other radiant, linked by a blue waterfall.

Autumn in her hair

Acrylic · 73 × 60 cm

Hair made of fallen leaves, amber and copper; the cool background makes the warmth of the face sing.

Golden rain

Acrylic · 70 × 60 cm

Beneath a shower of golden strokes, the face lights up, the paint thick and vibrant.

Face to face

Oil · 120 × 90 cm

A bay and a grey meet beneath a spray of flowers. The raised collars, red and green, answer the dark background: a suspended tête-à-tête, between light and night.

The thoroughbred

Oil · 67 × 67 cm

The warmth of the ochres meets the geometric rigour of the decoration.

Through the seasons

Oil · 115 × 84 cm

A tenderness that passes through time without coming undone.

The red bridge

Oil · 120 × 90 cm

A wooden bridge spans still water, a vivid patch at the heart of a green landscape. The eye crosses it in turn, drawn by this note of colour that links the two banks.

The summer pond

Oil · 80 × 90 cm

The calm light and the silence of the banks.

The falls

Oil · 98 × 67 cm

The power of the place, in every pour of paint.

The hour of the oud

Oil · 76 × 60 cm

A still life to be listened to as much as looked at.

Violin on a checkerboard

Oil · 76 × 60 cm

The instrument waits for the hand that will make it sing.

The red violin

Oil · 70 × 55 cm

A string of pearls falls like a melody.

Tea and roses

Oil · 65 × 65 cm

The gentleness of the ritual and the ardour of colour.

“A bold chromatic palette, a composition carefully studied.”

My approach

Three constants in the 2026 collection

What recurs from one canvas to the next in this series.

The palette · tap a colour
Orange, the warmth of the strokes
01

Colour first

A confident, often saturated palette, where ultramarine and oranges answer one another.

02

The face as landscape

Flowers, foliage and waterfalls grow right on the skin. The portrait opens onto nature.

03

Acrylic, without exception

The whole collection is painted in acrylic: quick strokes, impasto and bold colours.

Biography

My journey

I grew up in an environment where creativity held a central place. Even before holding a brush, I learned to look: the harmony of two colours, the balance of a shape, the grain of a material. This attention to visual harmony has never left me and is today the foundation of my work.

I painted my first canvases at the Russian Cultural Centre, where I learned the basics of drawing and composition. I then chose to continue as a self-taught artist, out of a taste for experimentation and a need for freedom. For a long time I worked in oil, for its depth and the slowness it imposes, before adopting acrylic, whose quick drying lets me layer, rework, cover over, and let the gesture guide the canvas.

I conceive each painting as a search for balance between spontaneity and construction.

From this back-and-forth between techniques came a pictorial language that is entirely my own. My first series were resolutely abstract, centred on the dialogue between colour and texture. Little by little, my work opened up to more expressive compositions, where emotion and movement take up more space.

This evolution owes much to my experiences shared between France and Morocco: the light, the contrasts and the palettes of each of these lands run through my canvases and answer one another. Every exhibition, every exchange with the public feeds my practice and leads me to refine my pictorial language further.
